Challenge Dates: June 22 - August 17
Preregistration: June 1

Welcome to Tacoma Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge 2024! We’re delighted to have readers of all ages join us. This year’s theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library!”

You can use a virtual or paper activity log to track your progress. Log your reading and activities on a computer or mobile device with Beanstack, opens a new window. If you would like to use a paper activity log, you may download and print one, or stop by any library to pick one up. Complete 25 activities to finish the challenge. Books, eBooks, magazines, graphic novels, and audiobooks can all be used to meet the reading requirements.

Stop by any library for a sign-up prize when you’ve started the challenge. When you complete the challenge you'll receive a completion prize and be entered into a grand prize raffle.

You can check out books and more from any of our eight locations. You can also access digital reading materials with your library card by using the Overdrive/Libby, and hoopla apps! Find everything you need to know about downloading and using these free apps on our A-Z Resources Page. The last day to complete the Summer Reading Challenge and pick up prizes is Saturday, August 17.
