Did you know that Tacoma Public Library offers free streaming movies, music and audiobooks? Well, it’s true!
There’s a service called Hoopla, opens a new window available on the library’s website. Just create an account using your library barcode number and an email address. Then, on your mobile device (Apple or Android) install the free Hoopla app from your app store, sign in with your library account – and you’re good to go!
With your account, you can check out and stream (or download if you won’t have access to WiFi) up to 10 items per month. The count automatically resets the first of every month. Best of all – you never have to place a hold! Just check out and enjoy. If you have an HDMI cable, you can even stream the movies to your television at home.
