Starting August 29th, Tacoma Public Library is making it easier for you to get in and get out quickly with the installation of SelfCheck machines at every branch. 
Intended to increase efficiency, 30 new SelfCheck machines have been added as part of a system-wide improvement plan supported by funds from the city. In addition, each location will have at least one terminal with a credit card machine to allow you to pay your fines/fees with a credit or debit card.
