Kate Larsen will begin her position as the Library Director for Tacoma Public Library on January 2, 2018. Kate received her BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree at the University of New Mexico and her MLS (Master of Library Science) degree at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
She will be replacing Susan Odencrantz (1997 – 2017), who is retiring after 20 years of service with Tacoma Public Library.
