Four new library card designs are now available to patrons including a commemorative Tacoma Reads 2016 design featuring Emily St. John Mandel’s Station Eleven.
This is the first time the library has marked the Tacoma Reads selection with a new card. Other cards reflect the postcard collection in the library’s local history resources, the launch of the library’s new website, and the wonder of books and reading. The new designs are a card / keytag combination. The library will continue issuing existing designs (which offer patrons a choice of card or keytag) while supplies last.
Patrons with existing library cards can exchange their card for the new designs for $1.00.
