If you've wanted to start exercising but didn't want to do it alone, this is your opportunity! Enjoy casual conversation with a walking partner or plug in and enjoy some tunes or one of the library's many audiobooks.
Three Tacoma Library branches have formed staff led walking clubs: Fern Hill, Main and Wheelock. Enjoy a 30-40 minute walk around the local neighborhood each week through August 11th, and find out why walking is considered one of the best ways to maintain health, lose weight, and de-stress!
