In July of 1935, Olga McGilvray, Bremerton's only female bus driver, posed for the Bremerton Sun standing in the door of her bus. Miss McGilvray had driven the Park Ave. bus for three years without an accident. She started while she was still in high school, driving after school and on Saturdays.
