25,000 Words, currently on display at the Handforth Gallery at the Main Branch of Tacoma Public Library, features the work of five photojournalists from The News Tribune. We asked each of the photographers to share some thoughts about their work and career.
Drew Perine has spent 16 years at The News Tribune. He wrote, “For over 30 years, I have strived to inform and entertain readers in print and online as a photographer, writer, and most recently, as a videographer. Visually oriented, very adaptable, I have always found ways to make meaningful contributions and be someone people appreciate working with. The tools and method of delivery have changed through the years, but my goals remain the same: Grab the public's attention and deliver information with accuracy and flair.”
Meet Drew Perine and his colleagues at an artists’ reception at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 5th at the Handforth Gallery.
25,000 Words continues at the Handforth Gallery through March 19.
