Arthur Edeson, director of photography, manipulating camera on location of "The Patent Leather Kid" March 29, 1927. Mr. Edeson entered the film industry with the Eclair Co. in 1911. He would play a pivotal role in location sound photography when the silent era came to a close in the late 1920's.
