Surrounded by stacks of empty desk drawers and overflowing waste cans, a Tacoma Times reporter reads one of the last Times papers published at 819 Pacific Avenue. In February of 1940, the Tacoma Times moved to 919 Market St. On February 27, 1940 the Times trumpeted their move to new quarters with a daily edition that ran 92 pages in 5 sections. It was the largest edition of the Times published to that date.
