Friday, April 22, 2016 is Earth Day! In April of 1970, a group of students from Stadium High School prepared to plant trees on Pacific Ave in celebration of the first Earth Day. Tacoma Public Library has some great resources that would help our local students and citizens celebrate Earth Day with style!
• Digital Media Labs - (Newly Opened to Adults) - Get instruction on making a video, taking photos or composing/editing your own music for Earth Day using our media software.
• Gale Courses – Online Instruction Center - Prepare for your Earth Day project with a non-credit online course in digital photography, multimedia, grant writing or publishing. Expand your horizons and be a life-long learner!
• Science In Context - Earth Day often means science projects, papers and homework for our students. Use Science in Context for the latest information in earth, environmental and biological sciences.
