In this photograph from May, 1947, Anton (Tony) Barcott holds the fish he and Wahenell Barcott caught in Lake St. Claire, Thurston County. It is a 30 pound carp. The fish was on display in the Washington Hardware Co. sports department. Although Tony was the manager of the California Oyster House at 930 Pacific Ave., he assured the world he will not cook and serve this amazing carp.
